Back to Basics: Transporting children safely on every trip

This 3-hour professional development workshop provides a 1-hour child car restraint update presentation and a 2-hour practical skills session. 

The workshop covers why we need child car restraints, the importance of correctly installing and adjusting them for each child and an overview of the legislation and standards. The practical skills session gives participants the opportunity to select, adjust and install the restraints they use for service delivery in the vehicles they use for transporting children. Workshop cost is $770 per session for a maximum of 10 participants.
