Kidsafe WA and ATCO Australia are proud to announce the ‘Get Creative about Safety’ Colouring in and Comic Strip Competition 2022. The competition gets students thinking creatively about safety and will put them in the draw to win prizes for their class. First, second and third prizes will be awarded for each category.
Using the templates provided at https://www.kidsafewa.com.au/latest-news/get-creative-about-safety/, students can:
Colour in the Gas Safety scene (Year 1-3).
Use your creativity to colour in the image and learn about gas safety inside and outside the home. For parents and teachers, it is a great opportunity to engage in conversation with students around what to do if they smell gas.
Design a comic strip showing what they have learnt about safety (Year 4-6).
Let your mind run wild and design a comic strip all about safety. The comic strip can be up to 2 pages long and can be designed using paints, pencils, textas, and anything in between. Examples of safety messages include:
- How to cross the road safely
- Gas safety
- Preventing burns
There are lots of goodies up for grabs for most creative design – With prizes including Coles/Myer Gift Cards, A pack of books for your school, First Aid packs from St John and some ATCO goodies!
How to enter:
- Download the template for your year group (Year 1-3 or Year 4-6) and the flyer and entry form at: https://www.kidsafewa.com.au/latest-news/get-creative-about-safety/
