While some installation errors are more serious than others, a combination of even minor errors can increase the risk of injury significantly. Kidsafe WA aims to increase the number of children being safely transported in cars.

Kidsafe WA has recently received a Lotterywest grant to support reducing child car restraint installation errors through a suite of short videos and delivery of free child car restraint checking days for families experiencing social disadvantage.

The WA Government, through Lotterywest, supports community projects and events, helping to build a better WA together. Lotterywest is unique. It is the only lottery in Australia, and one of the few in the world, where the profits are returned back to the local community.

In addition, Lotterywest will also be funding significant upgrades to Kidsafe WA audio-visual equipment within our board and training room to better support online meetings and program delivery to ensure access to all West Australian communities.
