Child Car Restraint Workshop
Suitable for Child Care, Family Day Care or anyone who transports children as part of their job role who uses a specific fleet of vehicles and limited makes & models of restraints. Click here to make an enquiry.

This one day course will provide candidates with the knowledge and skills to install and select suitable child car restraints from a specific range of restraints for transporting children in their care. Course cost is $220pp. Minimum numbers apply. Click here for Course Flyer
**NB: This workshop does not enable you to be registered as a Type 1 child car restraint installer but is delivered as an accredited course, aligned with the single unit of competency CRFPIA301 Provide information and advice on correct child car restraints.
52862WA Course in Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitting
Suitable for individuals currently providing, or intending to provide, child car restraint fitting services or required as part of their work duties to select, fit or use child restraints.

This two day nationally recognised training course will provide candidates with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be able to deliver Type 1 Child Restraint Fitting and checking services, including providing information on the appropriate selection, use of and fitting of child car restraints. Visual Inspection Course
Suitable for individuals who are responsible for the routine visual inspection of parks and recreational facilities. These include but are not limited to traditional, indoor, natural and nature playgrounds and those responsible for routine maintenance.

This one day nationally recognised training course incorporating AHCPGD212 Conduct visual inspection of park facilities, will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct routine visual (daily to weekly) inspections of park and recreational facilities to identify visual hazards and existing potential risks. Operational Inspection Course
Suitable for individuals who are responsible for operational inspections of parks and recreational facilities. These include but are not limited to traditional, indoor, natural and nature playgrounds and those in a supervisory or maintenance role.

This two day nationally recognised training course incorporating AHCPGD311 Conduct operational inspection of park facilities, will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct operational (monthly to quarterly) inspection of park and recreational facilities to identify hazards, existing and potential risks, non-conformities with Australian Standards, and workplace health and safety requirements. Comprehensive Inspection Course
Suitable for individuals who are responsible for the comprehensive (annual or post-installation) compliance audit of park or recreation facilities. This may include playground operators, supervisors, risk assessors, design and safety officers, independent auditors, equipment manufacturers, landscape architects and designers, equipment installers, managers and owners of playgrounds in public, private and educational facilities.

This two/three* day nationally recognised training course incorporating AHCPGD510 Conduct comprehensive inspection of park facilities, will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct comprehensive (annual or post installation) compliance audit of park or recreation facilities to identify non-conformities with Australian Standards, legislative and work health and safety requirements, as well as manufacturers’ standards.
